Angry Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton slammed the defensive display of his side after their last-gasp 2-1 defeat at Derby County.

The Tractor Boys chief was also furious with Simon Walton after the on-loan midfielder was dismissed early in the second half at Pride Park.

"Simon Walton has let his team-mates down badly and cost us the game," fumed Magilton.

"Unless he learns very quickly he's going to be an average player.

"We conceded two more soft goals and it's driving me mad.

"Responsibility seems to be a dirty word at this club and, if we carry on in this form, we're going to find ourselves in a relegation scrap."
