Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton fears that Jon Walters could be set for a spell on the sidelines.

The former Chester City striker appeared to sustain an ankle injury in the first half of Tuesday's goalless draw at Wolves.

A concerned Magilton said: "Jon was pretty sore but we won't know the damage until our medical people have had a good look at him.

"Obviously he has to be a major doubt for the Reading game.

"We have one or two others with bumps and bruises as well and we'll have a body count on Thursday and go from there in preparation for Saturday."
