Ipswich Town duo Liam Trotter and Chris Casement are on the verge of signing new 12-month contracts with the club.
Trotter is a 19-year-old midfielder whose current Portman Road deal expires in the summer. He has made nine appearances for Town and also played in three games for Millwall during a loan spell at the New Den last term.
Twenty-year-old defender Casement has made five starts and seven substitute appearances for the Championship side and is also close to agreeing a new one-year deal.
"Both boys are on the first rung of a long ladder, but they've done well here and deserve to be rewarded with new contracts," Town boss Jim Magilton told the club's official website.
"We want to keep them hungry and positive and I see their long-term futures to be here."
