Thatcher mulls over Town offer

Former Manchester City defender Ben Thatcher could be handed a permanent contract with Ipswich Town.
The 32-year-old ex-Wales international has been on trial at Portman Road and took part in the club's recent pre-season tour of Northern Ireland.
Thatcher spent last term at Charlton Athletic but is now a free agent and Town boss Jim Magiltion confirmed: "I've spoken to Ben and the talks went well.
"It's early days though and he's weighing up his options before we look at taking it any further."
