Sito heads Town exodus

Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton has released Spanish defender Sito, Sylvain Legwinski and Fabian Wilnis, and told five other players they are free to find new clubs.

Sito moved to Portman Road from Racing Ferrol three years ago and went on to make 63 appearances for the club, scoring once.

"We've told Sito that we'll not be offering him a new deal," Magilton told Town's official website.

"He's a fantastic lad and I'd like to thank him for his contribution to this football club and we wish him every success in the future. We'll do everything we can to help find him a new club.

"Fab and Sylvain have been great players for this club and they'll be missed around the dressing room."

Magilton will also listen to offers for Gavin Williams, Billy Clarke, Dan Harding, Matt Richards and Gary Roberts.

The latter is out of contract in 2010 while the other four players all have a year left on their current deals.
