Robins accept Ipswich bid for Austin

Swindon have accepted an undisclosed bid from Ipswich for star striker Charlie Austin, the League One club have confirmed.Austin, who has been a goalscoring revelation since arriving from non-league Poole Town in October 2009, has subsequently spent Thursday in talks with the Championship outfit at Portman Road.Manager Danny Wilson said: "Ipswich have come in with an offer which we`ve accepted and we`ve given Charlie permission to go there and talk with them."If Charlie does go then we`ll wish him all the best because he`s exceeded everyone's expectations and has done fantastically well for us."A host of other clubs are also battling for Austin's signature, with Wilson earlier this week revealing Premier League Blackpool were close to meeting Town`s valuation of the 21-year-old.
