Winger Gary Roberts is delighted to have signed a permanent contract with Ipswich Town after a successful loan spell at Portman Road.
The 22-year-old has shown up well since his arrival from Accrington Stanley and has now penned a deal running until the summer of 2010.
He told the club's official website: "It's what I've wanted since I came to Ipswich on loan and now I'm looking forward to helping the club push on.
"The Premiership is where we all want to play, me included. I've seen life at the bottom end of the ladder and now I'm climbing up it and I want to go as high as I can.
"Ultimately that means playing in the Premiership. That's my aim and joining Ipswich has taken me one step closer to that."
Meanwhile, Dean Bowditch, Martin Brittain and Ian Miller are back with Town after loan spells with Brighton, Yeovil Town and Boston United respectively.
