O'Dea joins up with Tractor Boys

Ipswich Town have signed Celtic defender Darren O'Dea on loan.

The Republic of Ireland international has joined the Tractor Boys on a deal that runs until January 17.

The 23-year-old spent three months on loan in the Championship with Reading last season after losing his place in the Celtic starting line-up.

Town boss Roy Keane played alongside O'Dea during his time with the Scottish Premier League club during the 2005/06 campaign.
