More injury woe for McAuley

Northern Ireland international Gareth McAuley has suffered a new injury blow.

The Ipswich Town captain has recovered from a hamstring problem, but will now miss the final game of the season against Coventry City with a knee injury.

McAuley returned to training at the start of the week only to sustain a partial tear to the medial ligament in his right knee.

"Gareth will miss the Coventry game," Town boss Roy Keane told the club's official website.

"He picked up a knee injury in training and he's going to be out for a few weeks."
