Ipswich Town defender Alex Bruce has had his red card from the victory against Derby County rescinded but has now been charged with misconduct after becoming involved in a fight as he left the pitch.

Bruce was dismissed after clashing with Rams keeper Stephen Bywater and would have been suspended for three matches if he had been found guilty of violent conduct.

The two players scuffled at a corner, before squaring up again after being shown red cards - Bywater racing across the pitch to remonstrate with the 22-year-old Town defender.

Bywater has also been cleared of violent conduct but faces an FA charge of misconduct.
