Martin to front up for Ipswich

Martin has spent most of his career on the left wing but had a spell in attack for Manchester United reserves last season and flourished under the guidance of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer. Martin said: "I actually started out as a central midfielder and got moved out wide when I was 17. I did well and then just stayed there. "The last six months I have been playing in and around the forwards though and I've enjoyed my time doing that. "I'd say I've got a lot of energy and hopefully I can create and score a few goals. I'll be looking to play those balls into the channels and will be looking to feed off any flicked balls."
