Magilton slates FA verdict

Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton has voiced his disappointment at being handed a two-match touchline ban by the FA for his behaviour during the 1-0 defeat at Preston North End.
Magilton was found guilty of using abusive and/or insulting words towards referee Mark Clattenburg and was also fined £500 for his outburst, although he may appeal against the verdict.
He told the club's official website: "I was wrong to say what I did, although these things happen in the heat of battle.
"I expected a fine, but to be banned for two games seems very harsh to me.
"I'm deeply disappointed with the punishment, especially when I look at what other managers have received for similar offences.
"It was also my first offence, so all in all, I'm very upset about it."
