Magilton sets Wright deadline

Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton is growing frustrated with the lack of progress in his chase for West Ham United goalkeeper Richard Wright. The former Portman Road favourite has been linked with a return to Town since the beginning of the summer, but Magilton will look elsewhere for a new shot-stopper if the deal is not finalised by the end of this week. He told the Ipswich Star: "We aren't prepared to wait too much longer. We'd like to get something tied up by the end of the week at the latest. "I'll give it a few more days and see how the land lies and I hope a deal can be concluded, if not we'll look elsewhere. "We have to have other irons in the fire and we're constantly on the look-out for the right sort. "If it isn't Richard it'll be someone else. There's another goalkeeper we're in talks with."
