Lee relishing return to Ipswich
The 30-year-old played for Town between 2006 and 2008 and is still in touch with many of the players. But come Sunday he is in no doubt where his loyalties lie as Norwich look to boost their chances of Championship survival. "We've got to get the result," he told Norwich's official website. "For me, it's the excitement before the game when there will be a lot of people milling about outside Portman Road. You can feel the atmosphere and it's exciting. "I still know plenty of the (Ipswich) lads and stay in touch, as you do all your old colleagues. "But when you're on the pitch you don't have time to think about anything other than the game. "I'm looking forward to going back there. I feel so good at the moment, I can't wait. "I don't need to prove anything to anyone at Ipswich. To be honest, the response I've had from Ipswich fans since I came to Norwich has been totally positive and they've been really happy for me. "I think the fans knew I gave 100% for them and they appreciate that." The Canaries are outside the relegation zone only on goal difference, but the match means little for bitter rivals Ipswich who sit marooned in mid-table.
