Kennedy not finished yet
Ipswich full-back Mark Kennedy insists he is still up to the challenge of the Championship after moving to Portman Road. The 34-year-old was a surprise choice by manager Roy Keane this summer when he made the move from Cardiff but the former Liverpool man is determined to succeed - despite picking up a hamstring injury on his debut last weekend. He said: "If I felt I couldn't still do it I wouldn't be here. There's no doubt about that."I've still got ambitions and goals and if I felt I wasn't capable of achieving them, and being a positive influence, I wouldn't have joined Ipswich."Having the opportunity to play for Roy is one I did not want to pass up but I want to stress that it was as much about coming to play for Ipswich Town as Roy Keane."I know everyone's fascinated by him but when you get to know him he's an everyday guy and he's just like everyone else. But what I will say is that he's a winner and a leader and he's with Ipswich Town to be successful. I join him on that."
