Goalkeeper Arran Lee-Barrett has agreed a new contract to keep him at Ipswich Town until the summer of 2011.

The 25-year-old joined the Tractor Boys earlier this season and has impressed during his first few months with Roy Keane's side.

The Town boss told his club's official website: "I think Arran should be signing today and he deserves a new contract.

"He has done well for us but the hard work starts now.

"He knows he has got to battle on with Brian Murphy for the number one jersey and who knows if there will be another keeper coming in."
