Keane waits for news on new duo

Liam Rosenior took a blow to the head against Nottingham Forest on Tuesday night and Carlos Edwards went off with a hamstring injury. Rosenior will be fit to play providing the swelling around his eye has gone down in time and a late decision will be taken on Edwards. David Wright and Jaime Peters are the men most likely to come into the side if required. Keane is also without Gareth McAuley after his late sending-off against Forest so Tommy Smith or Pim Balkestein will return to the side. Luciano Civelli (knee) is targeting a return before Christmas, David Norris is out until January with a knee injury of his own and Ben Thatcher will not play despite shaking off a knee problem. Keane said: "Ben Thatcher is not in my thoughts. He is fit but there are a number of issues with attitude in training and reporting for work on time among them."
