Keane remains committed
05 Oct 2009 - 12:27:30
Ipswich Town manager Roy Keane remains confident that his side's dreadful start to the new season will turn around sooner rather than later.
The Tractor Boys currently prop up the Championship table, having failed to win any of their opening 11 games of the season.
However, Keane told the East Anglian Daily Times after a last-gasp 2-1 defeat at Barnsley: "I'm still as determined as ever, 100 per cent.
"It's the toughest time I have had in my career, though I had tough times as a player, but we have got to deal with it.
"It's tough at the moment because the players deserve better than what they are getting. We're stuck in a rut, so we have to try and get out of it.
"Fans have every right to complain and even question my position, but people watching the last two games will see we are making progress, but just not finishing it off.
"We're continuing to create chances, that's not the problem. We're playing some decent stuff."
