Keane content with Town point
11 Jan 2010 - 08:46:01
Roy Keane claimed Ipswich Town could have done better but was content with the point gained from Sunday's 1-1 draw with Leicester City.
The Tractor Boys stormed into an instant lead after Ryan McGivern turned the ball into his own net inside the opening 30 seconds at the Walkers Stadium.
However, Steve Howard's second-half equaliser earned a point for the Foxes.
"Because we've had such a poor start to the season it's victories we're after but Leicester are having a good season and maybe it's a point gained," said Keane.
"We probably had the best of the chances but our keeper probably pulled off the best save, but I think we could have done better."
Meanwhile, Keane has suggested the transfer window is likely to be a quiet one at Portman Road.
He added: "I've got a big squad and lot of good players who didn't even travel so I want to be careful and if we do bring one or two they would have to be of real quality - and to bring that in January is really difficult."
