Ipswich's Thatcher faces knee op

Ipswich Town defender Ben Thatcher has been told he could need an operation on his knee injury. The former Wales international will not play again this season after limping out of Sunday's derby victory over Norwich City. Ipswich physio Matt Byard has told the club website: "Ben has had a partial rupture of the medial ligaments in his left knee.
