Doncaster ended a four-match losing run with a win over Ipswich that all but ensures their Championship survival. Gareth Roberts put them in front early on when he caught goalkeeper Richard Wright out of position and netted from long range before Owen Garvan levelled. The scores remained level until 16 minutes from time, when Paul Heffernan poked home at the second attempt after his initial header was blocked.
