Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton has recalled defender Ian Miller from his loan spell at Darlington after learning that Sylvain Legwinski and Richard Naylor will not play again this season because of injury.
Miller, who made seven appearances during his time with the Quakers, told Town's official website: "I really enjoyed playing for Darlington and it went very well for me there.
"Darlington are pushing hard for the play-offs and there was a good atmosphere about the place, but I got a call from Steve McCall last Friday saying Ipswich wanted me back.
"I know the manager has said that he's hoping to give me a chance in the first team here and that's what I'm hoping for."
Meanwhile, Blackburn striker Francis Jeffers could return to Portman Road after making a rapid recovery from his hamstring injury.
Jeffers' initial loan spell with Town was cut short by the injury after he had made only three appearances for the club.
"I'm recovering quicker than I expected and have come back to Ipswich for the physio staff to have a look at how things are progressing," said the former Everton and Arsenal star.
"I'm here for the week to continue my rehab and we'll take it from there."
