Striker Danny Haynes revealed his delight after coming off the bench to score twice in Ipswich's 3-1 derby win against Norwich City at Portman Road on Sunday.
Town fell behind to their East Anglian rivals when Luke Chadwick opened the scoring on 26 minutes, but Sylvain Legwinski equalised five minutes before the break.
Ipswich boss Jim Magilton brought Haynes into the action on 76 minutes and he found the net within a minute, before adding a second in the closing moments.
He told Ipswich's official website: "I was itching to get on to the pitch. It was a local derby and everyone wants to play, I think I scored with my second or third touch of the ball, it was fantastic - it couldn't have worked out better for me.
"It's great to score any goal in front of the North Stand but to score in front of them against Norwich is awesome.
"It was a fantastic team performance and I think that even the Norwich fans will agree that we deserved to win.
"I've been working on my touch in training and my second goal reflected that. I'll keep working hard in training and hope to make an impression on the gaffer."
