Ipswich Town boss Jim Magilton has offered Owen Garvan a two-year contract extension. The 20-year-old midfielder, who came through the Championship side's Academy system, still has a year to run on his current deal and the extension will keep him at Portman Road until the end of the 2010-11 campaign. "Owen has a bright future and we want that to be at Ipswich Town," Magilton told the club's official website. "He's progressed at the club and we want him to continue to move forward here." Garvan has made over 100 first-team appearances for Town since making his debut at the start of the 2005-06 campaign.
