Former Ipswich star Baxter dies

Former Ipswich Town captain Billy Baxter has died at the age of 70 following his battle with cancer. The Scot played 459 times for Ipswich, picking up consecutive Second and First Division championship winners medals in 1961 and 1962. Baxter, who passed away at Dunfermline hospital, also led Ipswich as skipper to the Second Division title in 1968.
