Ipswich Town have invited Steve Marlet and Marcin Adamski back to Portman Road after impressing on a recent trial.
Tractor Boys boss Jim Magilton is keen to see former Fulham striker Marlet and Polish defender Adamski in match action, despite watching them at close quarters during training.
He told the Evening Star: "They have done well and I would like to see them again in a game situation.
"It is daunting coming on trial, even for some as experienced as Steve Marlet, but you don't know until you actually see them playing that you can really get a true picture."
French striker Marlet made over 50 appearances for Fulham during two years at the Premier League club.
The 33-year-old remains the Cottagers' record signing after they paid £11.5million to Lyon for his services in January 2002.
