Commons brace earns Rams win

Kris Commons scored twice to take his tally for the season to nine as in-form Derby cemented fourth place in the npower Championship with an impressive 2-0 victory at Ipswich.The Scotland international drilled a free-kick into the bottom corner to break the deadlock after 58 minutes, and 18 minutes later he coolly converted a Dean Moxey cut-back from close in to seal the points and a third straight win.Ipswich were not without their chances, though, with Frank Fielding pulling off a stunning save to deny substitute Jason Scotland late on.Derby have now won seven of their last nine matches.
