Ipswich Town have re-signed midfielder Joe Colback on loan from Sunderland until the new year. The 20-year-old spent the majority of last season on loan at Portman Road, scoring five times in 41 appearances for the Tractor Boys. So far this term Colback has made just one appearance as a substitute for the Black Cats and boss Steve Bruce thinks another loan spell will help the youngster. He told his club's official website: "Jack did very well at Ipswich last season and really enjoyed his time there. "This will give him a great opportunity to return and get some additional first-team experience under his belt. We look forward to having him back in the new year."
