Civelli making good progress

Ipswich Town's Argentinian midfielder Luciano Civelli is making good progress in his recovery from a serious knee injury.

The 23-year-old has not featured since a 1-1 draw with Burnley in March, but has returned to light training in recent weeks.

He told the club's official website: "I am getting there, but I know there is still a lot more work to do.

"The injury was very hard to take at first. It's the first time I have been out for so long, but you get a lift each time you get to the next stage and now I'm waiting to see the specialist and then hopefully I can move on again.

"The surgeon said that I would be out for maybe nine months and that is around Christmas, but I'm hoping to be back before then."
