Bruce expecting Town exit

Ipswich Town defender Alex Bruce expects to be leaving Portman Road in the summer.

The 24-year-old Republic of Ireland international has made more than 100 appearances for Town but has dropped out of the first-team picture in the last month.

He told the Ipswich Star "I don't appear to be in the Ipswich manager's plans right now and have worries whether I will between now and the end of the season.

"The manager picks what he feels is his best side and that's fair enough. But I've been left wondering whether I have a future at Portman Road."

Bruce turned down the offer of a new contract in January but his current deal expires in the summer.
