Ipswich Town striker Dean Bowditch has committed his immediate future to the club by agreeing a new one-year contract with the Championship side.
The 22-year-old former Portman Road trainee, who made his first-team debut six years ago, has struggled to break into Town first team on a regular basis and has been loaned out to Burnley, Wycombe, Brighton and Northampton Town.
Boss Jim Magilton confirmed to the club's official website: "I've spoken to Dean and he's staying with us for another year."
Chris Casement and Jordan Rhodes are also expected to pen new 12-month contracts with the club next week.
Magilton said of Rhodes: "Jordan made great progress last season and became an important member of the first-team squad.
"The new contract is good news for him and he fully deserves it."
