Ipswich Town have signed former Cardiff City goalkeeper Neil Alexander on a free transfer.
The 29-year-old shot-stopper left the Bluebirds at the end of last season after rejecting a new contract and has signed a three-year deal at Portman Road.
Alexander, who has won two international caps for Scotland, made 225 appearances during six years at Cardiff.
"There were a few clubs interested but once I knew that Ipswich were keen my mind was made up straight away," he told the club's official website.
"The club is highly respected in the game, so is the manager and I was made to feel wanted from the first moment I spoke to Ipswich.
Meanwhile, the Tractor Boys are close to re-signing former midfielder Tommy Miller following his release by Sunderland while goalkeeper Lewis Price looks set to be leaving the Suffolk club.
