Wickham honoured by England call
The 16-year-old grabbed a brace at Shrewsbury on Tuesday night but will miss the Carling Cup second-round tie with Peterborough and the Championship visit of Preston as he takes on Italy, Turkey and Portugal.[LNB]He told the club's official website: "It's a real honour to be called up by England.[LNB]"Taking on foreign opposition and the different styles of play will be a great experience, a real learning curve for me and I hope I bring that back to Ipswich.[LNB]"We are playing against some strong teams and countries with a great football tradition so it should be an exciting tournament."[LNB][LNB]
