Town wait on Dyer

Ipswich boss Paul Jewell is sweating over the fitness of midfielder Kieron Dyer ahead of the trip to Burnley. The on-loan West Ham man is nursing a thigh injury but has returned to training and could face the Clarets. Jewell is also assessing the state of his squad after losing eight of his players to international duty for the past 10 days. Captain Gareth McAuley was handed the skipper's armband for Northern Ireland on Tuesday night and should be fit to start at Turf Moor. Striker Tamas Priskin has joined Swansea on loan for the rest of the season while young midfielder Reggie Lambe was sent to Bristol Rovers. Goalkeeper Brian Murphy made his comeback after three months out with a broken ankle in a reserve game last week and could be involved.
