Town wait on double contract news
Supple and Trotter will be out of contract next month and have been offered new deals to stay on at Portman Road.
Supple has indicated he wants to remain with the club but Trotter is a reported target for Scunthorpe.
Keane told the club's official website: "We've are getting closer to a decision with both of them.
"It's that time at the moment when you have people away on holiday and we've also been involved in things like redeveloping the training ground, but I expect it to be sorted out one way or another next week."
