Town star: Exciting season ahead
With Newcastle, Middlesbrough and West Brom, relegated from the Premier League, joining promoted sides Leicester, Peterborough and Scunthorpe in the division, the race for promotion is sure to be wide open.
Wright told the official website, "I think the standard of the Championship will be back up where it used to be for the new season.
"In the past we've had maybe three clubs vying for the automatic places and the rest hoping for a play-off place but for the new season I can see as many as 10 being in contention for the top two positions.
"It looks like being a really exciting season and we've got to make sure we are right in the mix from day one."
