Media reports emerged over the weekend suggesting Keane had tabled a bid of around £1million for the Hungarian, something Hornets boss Malky Mackay and Keane himself later dismissed, although the Town manager is believed to have been at Vicarage Road to watch Saturday's 3-2 friendly win over Parma. But Priskin's agent Joseph Vvrvsbaranyi has now revealed Ipswich have made a bid for the 22-year-old. He is quoted as telling Hungarian newspaper Nemzeti Sport: "I cannot reveal the price but I may confirm Ipswich have made a very serious offer for Watford's Tamas Priskin. "We wait for the club's answer now but I believe an agreement will be made between the two clubs." Meanwhile, Watford have taken Scottish left-sided midfielder Jim McAlister on trial from Greenock Morton.
