Magilton is under increasing pressure at the helm of the Tractor Boys, with Wednesday's Championship home game against Nottingham Forest due to see a protest by the club's fans over the recent fortunes.[LNB]However, Evans has offered his support to the manager as well as dismissing a spate of recent reports in the regional press over the perceived failures of his side.[LNB]Evans told the club's official website: "I will make my decisions based upon what I believe is best for the club and in the full knowledge that no one person is bigger than the club and that includes me as well as the manager."[LNB]"Lets look at a few facts. We have only lost one in the last seven games. We have lost the away hoodoo and currently have the fifth best [away] record in the Championship. There is still a third of the season to go. There are still 42 points to play for.[LNB]"I believe Jim can take us to the Premier League but it's just not ours by right and we will have to continue to strive to be at our best to be promoted."[LNB][LNB]
