Town boss tells players to rest up

Keane has sent his players away until early July and knows from his time as a player that the summer break is vital. He said: "I want the players to go away and enjoy their break. Mentally and physically you need to rest after a long, hard season. "The body needs a break because it's the only one it gets through the season. There are no Easter or Christmas holidays and you need the summer period to recharge the batteries. "Modern footballers tend to look after themselves now and they don't come back a stone overweight. Hopefully they will see the benefits of pre-season training when the season starts. It will be tough."
