Town boss Keane on competition
A number of players at Portman Road are coming into form, making it all but impossible for Keane to leave them out of the team.[LNB]Keane singled out Jon Stead, who has come into the side in recent weeks and scored a brilliant long-range goal against Blackpool, as an example and has urged the rest of his men to follow suit.[LNB]"I think the players can pick the team themselves," he said. "Jon, for instance, has made it very difficult for me to leave him out, after scoring last week.[LNB]"That's what I want all the players to do, especially now we're missing a few through suspension and others are coming back from injury.[LNB]"Trust me, there's good competition for places here and that's very pleasing for a manager."[LNB][LNB]
