Thomas: Ipswich game will be tough

25 January 2010 11:59
The high-flying Baggies claimed a 2-0 victory over Roy Keane's men back in August, but Thomas knows it will be a totally different contest this time around.[LNB]"It won't be an easy game for us," Thomas told the club's official website.[LNB]"They were under pressure at first. Roy Keane has turned it around, which is what he did with Sunderland. He deserves praise for that but we will field our strongest team.[LNB]Thomas added: "At the moment we are playing with such confidence and we have players ready to come in and play if necessary."[LNB]Roberto Di Matteo has switched to a 4-5-1 formation in the last couple of games, as the midlands club recovered from a home defeat by Forest as they drew at Newcastle and then dumped them out of the FA Cup.[LNB]"We are enjoying the new formation," said Thomas.[LNB]"The gaffer had to re-evaluate and you have to give him praise for that - he is not afraid to change things and it worked.[LNB]"We have to now carry it on in the league. Automatic promotion has to be our aim."[LNB][LNB] West Brom 11/8, Ipswich 9/5, Draw 5/2
