Supple makes Oldham loan switch
The 21-year-old Irishman becomes returning manager Joe Royle's first addition at Boundary Park, having already worked under the Latics chief before at Ipswich.
Supple will train with the squad on Thursday and could make his debut in Saturday's home game against Tranmere as fellow goalkeeper Greg Fleming is still doubtful through injury.
Royle told the club's official website: "I have always been very impressed with Shane and he was good for me when we worked together at Ipswich.
"He might not be the biggest of keepers but his spring makes him like a basketball player."
