Spurs winger agrees Ipswich loan

Tottenham's England Under-19 winger Andros Townsend has signed a season-long loan deal with Ipswich Town.The 19-year-old goes straight into Roy Keane's squad for the Championship clash with Burnley on Saturday. [LNB]Townsend, who came through the Spurs academy, is yet to make a first-team appearance for the Premier League club. [LNB]Keane told BBC Radio Suffolk: "He looks nice and bright but I'd say let's be patient, he's still a young boy but he'll be in the squad for the weekend." [LNB]The Spurs midfielder started last season on loan at Leyton Orient, making 26 appearances and scoring twice during his five-month stay, and joined MK Dons for two months in January, getting two goals in nine games. [LNB]His only other loan move came in March 2009 when he scored once in 10 matches for Orient. [LNB]The left-sided player has been capped at Under-16 and Under-17 level for England and is currently part of the Under-19 setup, making six appearances.
