Norris frustrated with Town talks

Ipswich midfielder David Norris has revealed negotiations about extending his contract with the club have broken down. The 29-year-old, who is Town's top scorer this season with nine goals, joined the Tractor Boys from Plymouth in January 2008 but is out of contract in the summer, when he will be available to move on a free transfer. Norris told the Green'Un: "The contract talks are not going [well] at the moment. I had an initial offer two months ago, but it wasn't quite right for me. I was hoping for three years, but it was only two years, and I haven't heard one thing since. "I'm settled here and I've never said that I want to leave. I haven't signed anything with anyone else, when I possibly could have. "It's just a bit frustrating because I don't know 100% where I stand. Do they want me to stay and sort a deal out? Or do they want me to stay until the end of the season and then I go? "I'm in a strong position, but sometimes the grass isn't always greener."
