Nobody leaving on loan - Jewell

Ipswich boss Paul Jewell has ruled out the possibility of any of his first-team squad going out on loan. The likes of Jaime Peters and Tommy Smith have found themselves on the fringes, despite the defensive duo playing over 50 games between them this season. But Jewell is keen to keep depth in his squad. He told BBC Radio Suffolk: "I wouldn't be in a rush to let anyone go unless it really suited us, but I can't see that happening. "Someone came in for Tommy about three weeks ago and he wanted to stay and fight for his place. Our remit when we got here was to stay in this division and we've got to make sure we do that. "And once we've done that we can relax and maybe take more of a long-term view."
