McCarthy the Jewell in Paul`s crown

New Ipswich manager Paul Jewell has appointed Sean McCarthy as coach as he builds his backroom staff at Portman Road. The former Bradford and Oldham striker has signed a contract to keep him with the club until 2013 and will be in the dugout when Jewell takes charge at Millwall on Saturday. The 43-year-old made over 600 appearances during his playing career and has coached at Portsmouth in the past.
