McAuley unsure about captaincy

The Northern Ireland international took over from Jason de Vos as skipper last summer, but is keeping an open mind as to whether he will continue as he anticipates an influx of new players to Portman Road as Keane builds a side capable of challenging for promotion. McAuley told the Green 'Un: "I don't know what will happen now. It's the manager's choice. I would obviously want to carry on as it's an honour, but we will have to see what happens. "It's his preference as to whom he wants as his captain, so we will see. "The manager will bring in his own players so it could be he brings in someone else or decides on someone else that is already here."
