McAuley: Town haven't produced

Roy Keane saw his side claim a remarkable 17th draw of the season on Saturday as they were held by Bristol City and McAuley knows Town have not done enough this term.

He said: "We are all fighting for the football club, no-one wants to be the in the position we are in.

"We haven't produced enough results, so that's when the criticism is going to come towards the players and the rest of the staff.

"But we don't have sympathy with the manager, because sympathy's the wrong word. We all have respect for him and everyone wants to do well for him and push on.

"It's embarrassing really, the situation that we're in, struggling at the bottom. But the fans have stuck with us and it's very much appreciated."
