Keane was named as Ipswich's new boss on Thursday morning after they sacked Jim Magilton following a disappointing season which has seen any dim hopes of a play-off challenge fade into mid-table mediocrity.[LNB]New owner Marcus Evans gave Magilton £12million to spend on players and will get his chequebook out again for Keane, while with 13 players out of contract there is an opportunity for a fresh start at the club.[LNB]Mariner said: "It is absolutely one of the best jobs in the country. There will not be a better opportunity outside of the top flight.[LNB]"You'll have new owners behind you who want to take the club places and there will be money to spend.[LNB]"You need a couple of players in your squad who are difference-makers at that level. Whether that's a striker or a defender there are a few who can turn draws into wins and he needs to add a few of those to get the extra points on the board."[LNB][LNB]
