Arran Lee-Barratt plans to keep hold of the goalkeeping jersey at Ipswich after his late arrival in the first team. The 27-year-old has replaced Marton Fulop in Paul Jewell's side in recent weeks and will be handed a new contract in the summer. He told the club's official website: "It's up to me to show the gaffer that I should be number one for the rest of the season. "There is healthy competition between all the keepers here, we all want to be first choice and we drive each other on. "I feel I am a better player for the experiences of the last year or so. "I am mentally tougher, more confident and being at Ipswich has done wonders for me."
